It's that time again! Our simiannual Ranch clean-up at The Dalles Mountain Ranch is due, actually a bit over due.

So get our those working duds and gloves and come on out to do a little bit of work and have a
whole lot of fun. Usually, we
schedule this activity prior to the Park's Wagons & Wildflowers
Day, but due to schedule conflicts and activities, we could not
work it in earlier.

The Parks folks are just glad we
can help and have always been
very appreciative of our efforts.
At this point they have not advised what type of maintenance
we will be asked to do, but it
will probably be similar to the
past activity. At any rate, we will provide an update prior to the actual date.

Many of you have been out there
at least once, and some every
time, so you know the routine.
But for new volunteers, and we
hope we can count on several of
you, we usually work 2-3 hours
and then have a Nature Friends
NW feast before either taking a
short hike or heading back home.

The Ranch is an interesting and
historical place with great views
and lovely displays of wildflowers. Our work there counts towards our non--profit conservation 501(c)3 status, so it is important.
